About Peter
Peter Wilday has been practicing architecture in Northern Nevada for over 40 years. A New Jersey native, his career began after graduating from North Carolina State University where he was awarded the Henry Adams Medal for Academic achievement in Architecture. Soon after, he relocated to Reno, Nevada to establish an architecture practice designing and building over 100 unique homes. He soon became interested in the growing hotel and casino industry, and his vision helped transform several small properties into world renowned resorts. Over his career, he has designed several of Nevada’s premier resort casino properties, including the Peppermill, Atlantis, and Nugget. He has also collaborated on and completed work around the world, including projects in New York, Maryland, Maine, Oregon, Canada and China.
His firm is dedication and hands-on approach to managing projects has earned them recognition as a leading architecture practice in the resort gaming industry. Their work has been lauded for its innovation, timelessness and careful attention to each detail. Their unique approach to architecture spans from the initial project conception and planning to the design of custom interior furnishings, and final completion of construction.
